Some things are forbidden, like the cookies your mom told you to stay
away from when you were nothing more than a sugar craving kid.
You knew the consequences of your actions, yet you still took a chance,
you still rolled the dice and tried to get away with it.
Life is like that.
We know that we want something, we have been told to wait, we have been
told to stay away, but sometimes that request is beyond our own will.
On the days where we throw caution to the wind, we take a needed chance,
we jump right in to a storm we have to weather, and in the end, despite the warnings
that came from others, we knew that we were better off to take this chance…because
now we no longer have to wait for the best part.
