Boredom is impressively heavy.
It strips away
any and all motivation, and gains strength from its close friend Impatience.
Together they
have the ability to make you capable of nothing but sitting and thinking. These
merciless energy vampires that can take so much potential and throw it away
with no regard at all, with absolutely no value or lesson to be learned from
the purging of your energies.
Analyzing the
outcome, but never coming to a conclusion, never knowing anything for sure. All
we know is that we do not feel like we have the energy to create something out
of anything, or to appreciate anything for what it may bring to our lives.
We become
stuck in a haze of confusion, and we have no idea as to what to do next; and
knowing that even if you knew what to do next, you would not have the energy
left to even try to do what is right anyway.
So we sit in
boredom. We sit in frustration. We sit in defeat.
In the immortal
words of Tom Petty "The waiting is the hardest part".
