Day 293 "This Place Of Rest"

This moment, this grave and dark moment.

It is here that I choose to rest.

It is here that I choose to give up.
It is right here that I want to stop this journey...but the hope inside expects more out of me, and the ember I started with has become the smallest of flames.

From here nothing can stop me.
From here I will not lose focus on the distance I know I have made.
From right here I will choose to never give up at all.

It is here where I thought I was defeated, but instead this is where I found a real victory.
It is right here where I learned that I only ever needed to rest, and that giving up has never been an option.

This ember has become a fire inside that will only ever try to burn brighter.
