The ones that watch us as we trip and stumble along our paths may think
we are defeated. They may watch in silence, and judge us, as we make the honest
mistake of looking back longer than we should.
All these quiet ones that watch and assume as we walk with our heads
down, and our minds lost in deep thoughts, as we analyze our lives; as we try
to figure these complex emotions out.
We stumble, we crawl, we rise, and we fall...and always we try to do
these things on our own.
Head down, eyes to the ground, we are broken but not defeated.
We try find some comfort in the quiet of a hidden alcove, in the back of
our minds, and deep within our hearts.
The ones that watch us believe us to be defeated, but they have never
taken the time to get know anything about us, and they have no ides the
strength of our will.
From here we look to be broken, and some of us are, but given enough
time within this desperate place we will eventually find the answer to the
questions that brought us here in the first place. When we finally uncover the
answers to the questions that left us impossibly confused, the ones that
watched and judged us in silence will have to accept the noise of their
admiration and mistake in assuming us to be defeated and lost.
We will one day rise above this, we will be stronger for it, and never
again will anyone assume to judge us on our journey.
The fallen will rise!
