Day 258 "The Greater Side Of Lesser"

So many of us are waiting for the big moments in life.
We wait for these moments of greatness that will define us and confirm our existence as a great one.
So many of us want to be moved such a great emotional distance by an even greater force.
So many of us actually believe that we know what greatness is.

We wait to be moved.
We wait for the very moment that we have convinced ourselves must surely exist.
We wait, and we waste so many of our life’s moments, and all in the pursuit of greatness.

Not everything has an opposite and equal reaction. Some moments are so brief that in the blink of an eye you can miss them, but their effects on your heart can echo throughout a lifetime.
From a tear that can destroy us, to a smile in hell that can fill us with so much hope, the small things have the power to create monuments in life far larger than their original scale.

We must remember to pay attention to the small things as we wait for more, as we stumble blindly towards greatness, because within the moments we take for granted are all the things that can, and will, effect us more than what we believe is possible.

We must never forget that all greatness starts as dust.
