Not everything is possible.
Not all roads can be traveled to the final destination intended.
It is a common misconception that speaking of your limitations is a
negative only.
It is a common misconception that saying "I can't do this" is
a sign of failure, it is in fact, more often than not, a true sign of strength.
If Time The Thief tells you that he has stolen the opportunity that your
heart has desired, then you must listen, and you must accept that this path is
closed for you now.
You can fight against the current, you can stand against the storm, you
can try to force your will against that of the Titan that stands in your way,
and you can fight against it all out of desire and ego alone…but not everything
is possible, you cannot ever steal back what Time The Thief has stolen.
Life is about perspective.
You may look at your limitations as a weakness, or you may accept that
knowledge as your strength, because knowing your limitations, knowing your
faults, and understanding what Time The Thief has stolen is a gift that helps
you understand yourself better.
The heart is both a friend and an enemy, it is both your savior and the
one thing that will lead you too far down a path that you never had a chance to
complete the journey on.
The heart is only perspective.
The heart is faithful only to your will and your fears, and as it leads
you down yet another blind path in another blind hope, it tries so very hard to
stop you from saying those words that sound like submission.
Stop walking for a moment…open your eyes and close your wanting heart
for a moment more.
Say out loud the words that you knew you needed to say all this time,
those words that make you feel so weak, say those words that your heart tells
you not to say, but that your eyes force you to, and gain strength from this
conscious submission.
Say those very words that have been on the tip of your tongue for years
now.
Say them and accept that you no longer need to fight a war against the
ever present Time The Thief.
Say them and accept that there is no longer a path here for you to walk.
Say those words that both weaken and strengthen you.
Say those words that tell the world that you gave up on love by finally
setting it free. Say those words that destroy your false hope and instead give
you something more real in that empty space.
Say them with a defiant perspective.
Say them.
“I can not do this anymore. I will not do this anymore”.
